Software, long roads, and the people along the way.

I’m Naresh, a software engineer and technical leader. I build and run the systems behind businesses and communities, and I care as much about quality as speed. My work starts with understanding what people need and translating it into a clear plan and system design. I explain technical decisions in plain language so everyone involved can make informed choices. Beyond the screen, I’m an endurance athlete, and the long roads have shaped how I prepare, work with people, and see the world.

Naresh has left empty shoes here, no-one has been able to fill. He is exceptional in leading complex projects and strong minded teams through technology QA/UAT cycles.

In short order he totally rebuilt the site with a fresh look that’s both exciting and appealing to viewers. It contains more information but is lightning fast now.

Away from the desk

At the Silk Road Mountain Race, a torn tyre left me far from the nearest town. I patched it with my sailcloth wallet and rode about a hundred miles through the Tian Shan to the finish. I run ultramarathons, speak about resilience and execution, and like finding out what happens when you invite people along.

In 2016 I started Freedom Seat, a tandem-cycling initiative against human trafficking: 17,000+ km across 15 countries with 500+ riders, and $250,000 raised for partner organizations.

Say hello

A system that needs building, a community worth supporting, or an idea that doesn’t fit neatly into a box. I’d like to hear it.
