Technology partner to founder Gary Cantrell and advisory board member. I built the website, members platform, race catalogue, database, and certificates, and operate the infrastructure.

A deliberate choice

WordPress let us start with speed and simplicity. I run the platform on a self-managed server, with Cloudflare for DNS and security.

Beyond launch

I continue to operate the infrastructure behind the members platform, race catalogue, results and certificates:

Administering the WordPress sites and VPS infrastructure: updates, databases, user access, DNS, SSL/TLS and performance optimization.
Securing and maintaining day-to-day operations through Cloudflare, WAF rules, server hardening, offsite backups, recovery testing, monitoring, incident response, QA and documentation.

Most recently, I designed Backyard Legacy with Laz: ten Roman ranks that runners earn by the hour, with the emblem on the certificate they download. Read how it came together.
